The reference to the Milky Way in the first verse is is a reference to the
legend of Tanabata. It's a long story, but to make it short, two
lovers become separated by the Milky Way, and it's said that they can reunite
only once a year, on July 7. (That is, as long as it's not raining. ^^ )
