Translator's notes: I'd like to thank AzureLight and Shrike from the Animelyrics.com forum for all their comments, and my Japanese teacher as well. It was truly a great help!
(1) Shrike had another wonderful interpretation of this line -- "With the power of our dreams, we can run anywhere." Both translations seem equally valid to me, so choose the one you prefer.
(2) Or, as AzureLight suggested, "Covered in light shining from the sky, let's wish for the day to remain longer."
(3) I believe the imagery there is that the light from the sun is getting refracted in the sea, and as the sun sinks lower it seems to melt into the waves.
