The rising moon wavers, and melts into the water's surface
In the dead of night, it's swallowed by the waves
The person floating across the surging tide
Sinks into an abyss of sleep

The dark world is brightened
By a star of hope which I search for (seeking the light)
Leading me there (echoing from far away)

Reaching beyond the darkness (a long hair is wrapped around my little finger)

I awake though time has frozen for me (my slumber ends)
Drifting, I arrive (crossing over the ocean)

Beyond the darkness, I can see (the inky world that sinks into darkness)
If I aim for the world of dawn (if I want to break free from here)
I continue forward until the end of the barrier (let me continue until I pass the border)
Since the border separates the world in two (until I reach a new world)

I endure the pain in my legs (the red flowers scatter)
If I rise above the horizon of the ocean (if I climb past this hill)
The last of the the new day will shine down on me (I aim for the location where dawn breaks)
I head for that location (it is far and limitless)
Within this ocean, the two of us (this world)
Will travel together, no matter where we go

Someday surely, the time will come
When we arrive there
We seek the far-off road that continues, searching for the light of someday

Beyond the darkness, light shines
If the light of those stars will reflect in our eyes

During this calm period, they are born (living things awake from their light slumber)
