kono aoi sora no doko ka ni
totsuzen deau hito ga iru
natsu no taiyou ga
mabushiku terasu | Somewhere in this blue sky,
there's someone I will suddenly meet.
The summer's stars
shine brilliantly. | romen densha ni yurareteku
kawaranai machi wo nukete
kawaranai kisetsu
kaze ga hakondeku | Being shaken by the streetcars,
escaping the never-changing city,
the never-changing seasonal
winds travel [1] | koisuru kimochi wo
wasurenai yo
chippoke na yakusoku mo
watashi ni wa takaramono | I'll never forget the feelings that love.
This small [2] promise is also
a treasure to me | ano koro no omoi wa
tooku hanarete temo
watashi no mune no naka
iroasenai | Even if my thoughts of that time
become distantly seperated (from me),
what's in my heart [3]
will never fade | kuchibiru wo hiraku to
afureru MERODI ga
mado wo nagarete iku
michi wa tsudzuiteru | When you open your lips,
a flooding melody
goes flowing out the window,
the road continuing. | nanika wo motome sugitetari
kotoba ga tarinakatta tame ni
koibito wa itsumo
TESUTO wo ukeru | Wishing for too much,
so that words become not enough,
lovers always
take tests. | anata to watashi wa dou ka na
kokoro wa maigo ni natte
nanigenai koto de
kizutsuke au ka na | I wonder how you and I are?
Our hearts have become (like) lost children.
I wonder if it's more like us to unintentionally [4] hurt each other. | taisetsu na mono wo
tsukamitai yo
pokkari to ukabu kumo
sono subete uke tomete | I want to seize the important things
A cloud just begun to float [5], to take it all... | POKETTO no HAMONIKA
sotto iki wo fuku to
kokoro ga kyuu ni setsu
naku naru yo ne | When the pocket harmonica
softly blows a tune,
my heart suddenly
becomes sad. | namida ga houdzutai
kanashimi wo norikoe
futari de yuugure wo
hitomi ni utsushitai | The tears across my cheek,
the sadness I'm overcoming
Together, I want to reflect the twilight in our eyes. [6] | omoi tsudzukete iru
itsu no hi ka kitto aeru kara | My feelings will continue,
because someday, surely, we will be able to meet.

This is the first translation I've done, and it's not really artistic. It's somewhat literal.
[1] hakondeku - This seems to be a contraction of 'hakonde iku.' Hakobu means 'to transport,' and it's conjugated into 'iku,' to go. "To transport and go" is a very literal translation, and I had trouble thinking up of a word to go here.
[2] 'Chippoke' - Here, 'small' as in the sense of 'fairly insignificant,' or something that's not really a huge issue. Also may be translated as, "Even if it's a small promise, it's (still) a treasure to me."
[3] 'mune' - Literally, 'breast' or 'chest.' (Frequently) Used idiomatically so that the English translation is 'heart.'
[4] 'nangenai koto de' - Literally, by unintentional things
[5] 'pokkari' - I believe this is a variation on 'pokkiri', which means 'having just...'
[6] 'hitomi' - Actually, the pupils of the eye, not the eye itself.
